New Boobs
It gives me great pleasure to share with you the journey that I took to obtain breast implants. This is the third update to the narrative. This photo set was the big reveal. MyFreeImplants was the site where I initially posted photos of my bare breasts to share my donors. I hoped that since enough time has passed that my donors would have no objections if I shared photos from this period with you. These pictures were only available to individuals who donated to me at MyFreeImplants. I find it incredible that I simply spontaneously joined Myfreeimplants and ended up with a boob job. Then, I wasn't expecting anything could emerge from it. I also hadn't anticipated that someone would donate anything towards my surgery. At the time, I honestly thought the concept of MFI was amusing. Crowdsourcing for plastic surgery was a novel concept. It is even more bizarre to me that it is common today. We truly live in a completely different reality, than we did in 2009.
These images were shot on January 10th, 2010. I was going into a new decade with a new look. These images were shot after 6 weeks of healing. Yes, you can see the scars. Yes, I did pop a stitch while healing. Not using my arms for at least two weeks was one of the more difficult things I have had to experience. It was kind of a form of bondage. I will admit, it was 100% my fault for popping the stitch. I am active personally, I probably got back to movement way too quickly. I also didn't ease into things as slowly as I should have. I have a high pain tolerance so, I had to learn to back away from movement in other ways. Yes, I have my little plastic scar guards on. But this is a simple set shot, to show the reality and progress. Of course, I will be sharing more images from this period in an upcoming post. I think of my website as kind of an open journal for you. There seems to be a lot of curiosity about life behind the scenes.
As for what was done during the surgery if you haven't been following along.
November 19, 2009, I had a bilateral crescent mastectomy with augmentation with Mentor MemoryGel Silicone gel-filled breast implants. In plain English, I had a lift with a two-inch incision at the top of the nipple. Amazingly, 450 cc implants fit in that small incision. My surgery was done by Dr. Robert Rey of Beverly Hills at a local surgery center, close to my condo. So, my travel time was less than 10 minutes. The surgery itself took two hours. My surgery took a bit longer because he had to work on my tubular breasts. He had to make a space in my chest for an implant. My implant was placed under the muscle. Like, I said my surgery had a bit more work than a typical boob job.
